For a major clarity and transparence concerning guarantees and performances of windows and window doors, Stenfis wishes to point out the following:

Generally speaking, according to the law,  the guarantee has a duration of two years and covers the entire product and almost all window sizes. Moreover Stenfis windows, window doors and sliding uplifting window doors  have been granted the CE label  since 2005 already;

Additionally to the basic guarantee established by the law, Stenfis guarantees the following:

1. Painting: depending on the type of painting, the warranty can last up to 6 years, provided the Customer carries out a correct maintenance of the joinery according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer (Stenfis) and uses to this purpose the specific maintenance set supplied along with the product;
2. Glass: 5 years warranty against internal condense water (inside the air cushion) thanks to the special salts contained in the double glazing;
3. Locking hardware: During the certification tests carried out at the Consorzio LegnoLegno, Stenfis chose to have the hardware for windows and window doors  go through an additional special mechanical resistance test. This test consisted in 10.000 opening/closing actions, which correspond to an average correct use over a 12 years period;
4. Other elements: Each element constituting windows and window doors is accurately selected taking into account the technical features of the product (wood, seals, glue, etc.) so as to always offer a quality product.
5. Stenfis is always in the position to supply the corresponding technical sheet for each of her products, and, thanks to the passed certification tests, Stenfis also supplies the declaration concerning the thermal transmittance and the acoustic absorption. 

The fitting
We at Stenfis are well aware of the outstanding importance a correct fitting has to the performance of windows. This is why we guarantee our Customers the fitting by qualified operators, who have followed extra courses held at  the Consorzio LegnoLegno.

Use and maintenance
There can be no talk about guarantees, unless the joinery is not correctly used and, above all, correctly maintained by the end user.
In cooperation with Consorzio LegnoLegno, Stenfis provides her Customers with a special and complete guide, which can be downloaded and has been prepared by the Consorzio himself “Guide to the use and maintenance of windows”.
